Portugal
We are so grateful for the wonderful trip we were able to take this past Christmas with my family. It was a once in a life time experience! Neither Wes nor I have been to Europe so this was a first! We also have never left Brady for 12 days, so that was a first too. Grammy and Grampy were so wonderful and kind and took care of our little guy so we could go.
We left on the 26th and took off for Portugal. We had a twelve hour lay over in Frankfurt Germany, so we were able to leave the airport and explore the city. It was absolutely beautiful! There was lots of snow and it was very cold. We walked the downtown area, which was so fun because we got to see the beautiful architecture. We also took the train out to see the Frankfurt temple. That was also very fun. On the train ride we saw lots of little towns and the way people live.
After our lay over we were off to Porto Portugal. We finally arrived to our hotel after being awake for 36 hrs. Needless to say we were exhausted. The next day we drove all over town and were able to see the different places my brother lived while on his mission. Porto was my favorite city:) The next few days we drove all over Northern Portugal and visited the areas my brother served. It was so fun to meet the people he taught and served. It was also fun to hear he and Wes use there portuguese. We then traveled to the Madiera Islands. They are the Hawaii of Europe. They were very beautiful. We were there on New Years Eve which was quite the treat. They have the third largest firework show in the world! It was unbelieveable. We then flew to Lisbon and spent a day and a half there. This was a much more modernized city.
We had the most wonderful time and I am so grateful for all that I have and the country I live in. The people we met were so humble and welcoming. I will always remember this experience.

Holiday Magic
Christmas time is here and we are enjoying every minute. We are taking in all of the fun festivites. Brady is extremley jazzed about all the lights. He freaks out when ever we see a tree or house with lights, and goes crazy when he see's any type of train. We have been to two of our local tree lighting ceremonies and it has been so fun watching Brady enjoy himself. What a fun age he is at. We were lucky to go enjoy the holiday magic of Disneyland yesterday. Daddy played hooky from work(which he has never done), but we were in need of some fun family time. Disneyland is so fun this time of year. The castle looks beautiful all covered in snow and lights, it snows on main street in the evening, and whats better than small world at Christmas time? It was such a fun day! We hope you are all enjoying the season as much as we are. Love you all!

A long time coming
After much anticipation I am returning to update our blog. I am aware that many of you have made requests for my return to the blogger world (Janelle). So here I am. Go to the bathroom and grab a beverage beacause you may be here a while.
Brady is the cutest thing ever, which you all know. Since he is numero uno our lives revolve around him. So most everything I have to say is about him. He is talking all the time now. Favorite words are: Dada (in a whispering voice only), cuck (truck), uh-oh (when the phone rings), and his most used word is ohh!, when ever he sees something cool. Brady's favorite thing's to do: watch Disney's Car's (he laughs and dances through the whole thing), play with his favorite truck that Nanny bought him at Disneyland ( freaks out if it's not glued to him), and of course go on walks and to the park with Mommy.
It seems like every week we are out and about on a new adventure. We spend lots of time with Grammy and Nanny (Brady's Grandmas). Every time we get off the freeway at either of their houses he starts to clap and then says his famous word "Ohh." He definitely has them wrapped around his little finger. Brady had his first experience at Chuckie Cheese. He was terrified of Chuckie, but who wouldn't be scared of a 6 foot gray mouse walking towards you? He did love playing one of the basketball games though. Wes and I also took Brady to the pumpkin patch and that was so much fun. He picked out a great pumpkin and had fun looking at the animals in the petting zoo.
Wes has been quite busy lately. Most of you know that he is probably the biggest college football fan ever. He starts gearing up for the season in March. He's nuts, but my nut and that's why I love him. He is actually in Las Vegas right now for the BYU game. His favorite team is BYU and he has been lucky to be able to catch 3 of their games already. It is fun bonding time for he and the guys. As for me not much to report. I am enjoying my favorite time of year, and trying to make this time special for my family. As a little girl I always loved this time of year because my Mom always had the house decorated spooky for Halloween and festive for Thanksgivnig. She always made it special and I hope to do the same for my family.
I don't know how to make a slide show, so until I figure it our sorry there is a long line of pics.

It's been a while...
Well, it's been a while since I've updated the blog. As our summer comes to an end I get sad that there are only a few beach days left. Wes has labeled Brady and I as official "Beach Bums." We would be there everyday if we could. We have been able to do lots of fun things this summer. Most recently we were in Utah for a a family reunion on Wes's side. It's always fun to be together with family. We've all heard the phrase "The more the merrier." Well this surely is the case for the Jones'. What a fun time we all have when we are together. We were able to do lots of fun things while we were there. When we got back we were so lucky to have Janelle(sister-in-law) and Brooklyn(niece) visit. I got to go to wicked (yes, again) with them and to Disneyland. The one good thing with summer ending is that our annual passes to Disneyland begin to work again. Brady LOVES disneyland, so does his Mommy. We live 30 minutes away and like to visit often. Wes and I just celebrated our 4th wedding anniversay and can't believe where the time has gone. Time flies when your having fun. I hope all of you have had as great of summer as we have!

Beach Time
What a fun week we have had. Brady went on his first camping trip. He was in Heaven being at the beach with his Nanny and Papa all week. His favorite places to be were in the driver seat of the RV and out on the beach. Brady kept Mommy running from sun up to sun down. She couldn't keep him out of the water. He wanted to do everything his big cousins did. We all had such a fun and relaxing time. We did a lot of laughing, swimming, eating, and chasing kids. We are so grateful for the fun times we have together as family.

Family Reunion
This is Brady's twin. Can you believe how much Brady and Coleman look alike? Coleman is Jen and Kimball's little boy. Jen and I were freaking out about how much they look alike. Well I'm sure you have all heard there was a Jones gathering on Friday night. It's always fun to get together with the very entertainig Jones clan. Kids were swimming and screaming and adults were eating and chatting. We are blessed to be a part of such a wonderful family.
